The 26(f) Meet and Confer is a required part of the pre-discovery process. During this meeting, the parties (and their counsel) discuss a discovery plan for the disclosure of potentially relevant documentary evidence. Often, some technological evidence falls beyond the knowledge base of the attorneys attending the meeting. In these instances, UHY Advisors’ Corporate eDiscovery professionals help to assess this potentially relevant evidence and advise as to its accessibility. Once this process is completed, we also support counsel during the Meet and Confer Process, offering technical “interpretation” and other assistance as necessary.
